I am using Oanda MT4 Build 610. Can someone explain to me which folders to put the various Zup v145 indicators in? This version is not being recognized.

From metatrader 4 terminal, go to file, look for "Open data folder". Then click on it, it will opened up terminal windows, from there you will find MQL4 folder. Inside the MQL4 folder are contains indicator folder which we can place custom indicator.

in files folder (inside the MQL4 folder), or in the other folder inside files folder which is inside mql4 folder ... I will need to read onix forum to remind to myself sorry

Yeah it should be placed inside MQL4 file folder, according to Nen.

To download a list of patterns from a file , you must follow certain rules to create the file.

Files with lists of patterns stored in the directory ... \ Metatrader *** \ experts \ files \ ZUP \ ListPatterns \

To read a list of file patterns used parameter readFromFileListPatterns

readFromFileListPatterns - sets the reading list of patterns from file \ \ ZUP \ ListPatterns \ listpatterns.csv
0 - Read the list of file patterns smoking
1 - used to find only five-point patterns , a list which is loaded from the file
2 - to the built-in five-point patterns ZUP list appends a list of file patterns. In this case, a composite list of patterns.
At the beginning of the list of patterns are embedded in the code ZUP, and then all the patterns loaded from a file. In this case, to avoid duplication,
list of downloadable patterns necessary to exclude patterns embedded in the code ZUP.

I'm not yet experience using this new feature maybe in coming days.

Thank you both for your reply! I placed the files in the locations as indicated and Zup v145 is up and running!

Hi,

Im new round these parts, and trying to get ZUP up and running. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction, as I seem to be failing miserably.

I have placed these files in the correct new build MT4 folders I highlught htem as I feel that there is a file I am missing - at a complete guess - as I can see many random lines on charts, but no patern identification.

Grateful if anyone has any suggestions

I have build 610 and I installed ZUP 145 to \MQL4\Indicators folder. It is what I got here :

I am not sure that ZUP is working in correct way with build 600+

I visited the forum of the author (Nen) and he told that he will improved the ZUP to work with new builds. It is all that I know.

Thanks ND - I had answered my own question as on closer look I had missed copying a file over - just coincidental that it is the one you mentioned. Up and running on build 610. Now just to work it out......(I familiar with Harmonics, but not ZUP)

I have tried several applications to try and extract files from the RAR files I have down loaded for the Zup 145 indicator, but all have said the RAR files are unsuitable (including WinZip and Jzip. Do you have a special method I must use to down load files. At the moment I am using the save to command off your web site to my terminal ? or do I have to download a specialized RAR application to match you files ?
