    Madonna has opened up about her marriage with actor Sean Penn and says that he never once physically hit her during their marriage. The statement came in the form of a court submission filed by Madge on Penn's behalf for his ongoing defamation suit against Empire co-creator Lee Daniels. Penn filed the suit after Daniels gave an interview.

    Chvrches and PJ Harvey have been added to the bill of the 2016 Open'er Festival. Headliners announced for the fest are Red Hot Chili Peppers and Florence + the Machine. PJ Harvey will perform on June 29, with Florence + the Machine, followed by Red Hot Chili Peppers on June 30 and Chvrches on July 2.
