Universal ZigZag Channel

Dear NewDigital,

I found this so-called "professional zigzag" indicator at mql4 forum. I looks very good. the link is here

I have two questions and want to know if you can help me:

1, is this the last version, or the author created some newer version? I couldn't open his website and it's in Russian language - too bad.

2, is there a mtf version of this indicator? It will be very useful if we can load different TF into one chart.

Author of this zigzag indicator is the author (AlexSTAL) of HWAFM pattern tool. But I can not open his website here. I just found same zigzag for MT5 (in English) - this page.

I think - the description of his MT4 indicator (in russian) on your link, and the description of his MT5 indicator on this link in english are almost identical (same) so we can read in English.

Thank you Newdigital. I guess we can not figure out if there's any newer version then, nor can we find a MTF version.

Yes, I found the MT5 version first, then the MT4 version. But thanks for your work and suggestion anyway.

ND, I also want to report the "zigzag professional" indicator can not be loaded to new MT4. just FYI.

It is necessary to have AlexSTAL_OutsideBar.mqh file for this indicator ... I am trying to find it now.

Igorad, these 3 files don't want to work for the new FAMOUS(nortorious) MT4 600+. Please order them keep working

Hi wccmcd,

It looks strange but this indicator works on my PCs with different Windows. Also it works on different MT4s (old and new).
Moreover I found that this ZZ sometimes defines Top and Bottom points wrongly.

Well I guess there must be something wrong because both ND and I tried it and it didn't work...

anyway, if it doesn't difine top and bottom well, then it is not the one we should work on - that's the key point.

it looks the one you are using (the red dot line) is a much better Zigzag - what is it?

It's not an indicator - I just showed how it should be.
