Kelly Clarkson has posted the first photo of her daughter River Rose. The baby, who was born on June 12, is seen posing asleep on a red pram, with her hands crossed underneath her chin. She is also wearing a delicate white headband with a white flower. The caption on the shot, which Clarkson posted to Instagram, says: "Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches."

The Peter Zinn directed musical boasts several songs written by country scribe JT Harding. Chesney's number one hit "Somewhere With You" gave the play its name. Harding has also written for Uncle Kracker and Keith Urban.

Zac Brown Band brought the Doobie Brothers up on stage during their weekend show at Fenway Park in Boston. The two acts teamed up for a performance of "Black Water" to the surprise and appreciation of the massive audience. The United States Postal Service has unveiled its Janis Joplin commemorative stamp, the latest in its Music Icons series. According to Linn's Stamp News, the stamp will be issued in August. Its design features a blue tinted photo of Joplin wearing pink tinted glasses. The words "Forever Janis Joplin USA" are printed around the border.

Weezer have revealed the artwork for their upcoming new album "Everything Will Be Alright In The End." The cover art-which was revealed in a video teaser featuring a snippet of the new song "My Mystery"--features a drawing of a monster poised alongside a mountain top, with snow and clouds among an orange-toned sunset or sunrise.

Shakira is slated to perform "La La La" featuring Brazilian artist /Carlinhos Brown during the closing ceremony of the FIFA World Cup in Brazil. Also scheduled to appear is Shak's one time collaborator Wyclef, who'll team up with Alexandre Pires for "Dar Um Jeito," the Cup's main theme song.

Faith No More previewed two new songs - "Leader of Men" and "Motherf****r" - during festival appearances at Hyde Park in London on July 4, and again the following day at Poland's Open'er Festival. The new songs represent the band's first new material since 1997. Faith No More had a reunion in 2009, but now it looks like the band might be moving beyond rehashing old tunes.

Speaking with the Tennessean, the Guitar Song writer explained why it has been six years since he released a new album.
