Kinks guitarist Dave Davies says that, contrary to popular belief, Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page did not play on the band's song "You Really Got Me." Davies hit Facebook to deny the charge, most recently made in a BBC doc. "BBC TELLS LIES ABOUT DAVE DAVIES AND THE KINKS IN THEIR NEW DOCUMENTARY," wrote Davies.

Chuck Wicks has reportedly signed on to appear as part of Craig Morgan's upcoming eighth annual Charity Ride and Concert. The event is set to take place on July 20 in Dickson, Tennessee and will also feature appearances by Tracy Lawrence. The day's events will include an exhibition by a team of professional motocross racers as well as a family ride.

Paul McCartney is slated to perform an intimate benefit show for fans in San Antonio, Texas. The gig goes down at the 1,750 seat Tobin Center for the Performing Arts on October 1, and serves as a fundraiser for the new venue. "Our board was very supportive of getting the biggest rock star in the world," said a Tobin Center rep, speaking to San Antonio radio station KSAT.

Kenny Chesney caused the crash of his own website after he made a surprise announcement on Wednesday, July 16 about his beach concert called the Flora-Bama Jama. The free concert will take place where Orange Beach and Gulf Shores meet Perdido Key on the Alabama/Florida border.
