Kelly Clarkson has posted the first photo of her daughter River Rose. The baby, who was born on June 12, is seen posing asleep on a red pram, with her hands crossed underneath her chin. She is also wearing a delicate white headband with a white flower. The caption on the shot, which Clarkson posted to Instagram, says: "Here is our beautiful baby girl River Rose; 6lbs 6oz, 18 inches."

The Peter Zinn directed musical boasts several songs written by country scribe JT Harding. Chesney's number one hit "Somewhere With You" gave the play its name. Harding has also written for Uncle Kracker and Keith Urban.

Janis Joplin Stamp Unveiled By U.S. Postal Service
The United States Postal Service has unveiled its Janis Joplin commemorative stamp, the latest in its Music Icons series. According to Linn's Stamp News, the stamp will be issued in August. Its design features a blue tinted photo of Joplin wearing pink tinted glasses. The words "Forever Janis Joplin USA" are printed around the border.

Faith No More Previews First New Songs Since 1997
Faith No More previewed two new songs - "Leader of Men" and "Motherf****r" - during festival appearances at Hyde Park in London on July 4, and again the following day at Poland's Open'er Festival. The new songs represent the band's first new material since 1997. Faith No More had a reunion in 2009, but now it looks like the band might be moving beyond rehashing old tunes.
