Chris Brown's upcoming assault trial has reportedly been pushed back by months. The move comes after a Washington, D.C. judge has refused to issue immunity to a bodyguard employed by Brown who was also involved in the incident. Breezy's bodyguard Christopher Hollosy was already convicted in the assault case in May and was expected to testify against his former boss. The singer's trial was expected to begin this week but is now on hold at the order of the judge.

Avril Lavigne has been called racist after dropping the video to her latest single "Hello Kitty." The vid, filmed in Japan, sees Avril hanging out with four Asian dancers in several locations. Billboard, among her critics, accused the pop star of fetishising Japanese culture. "RACIST??? LOLOLOL!!! I love Japanese culture and I spend half of my time in Japan," she said.

Gregg Allman has joined the chorus of those pleading with the producers of Midnight Rider to stop filming. The biopic, whose subject is Allman, suffered a blow when one of its crew members, Sarah Jones, was struck and killed by a train while shooting a scene. "I am writing to you as one human being to another, and appealing to you from my heart," Allman wrote.

A restored version of the Beatles' 1964 film A Hard Day's Night will hit over 50 theaters nationwide on the July 4 weekend. The film premiered in early April at the TCM Classic Movie Film Festival in Hollywood. THR reports that distributor Janus Films hired producer Giles Martin, son of Sir George Martin, to remix and remaster the soundtrack at Abbey Road.

Blake Shelton tweeted Adam Levine's phone number to his six million followers earlier this week. Blake made the move after getting ribbed by Adam before Monday's airing of The Voice. "I'm seriously amazed at @blakeshelton's stupidity," Levine wrote, a dis to which Blake responded with a threat: "I just found the craziest thing in my phone!!! Your PERSONAL cell phone number."

Paramore has poked fun at Justin Bieber's alleged artwork plagiarism by doing just that - plagiarizing his artwork on their new single "Ain't It Fun." The issue originally started after Bieber shared a new track, "We Were Born For This," with an image attached to the SoundCloud link that looked eerily similar to Paramore's cover for their 2007 album Riot!.

Kenny Chesney has announced a one night only appearance at the House of Blues in New Orleans on May 17. The announcement comes after Kenny said last summer that he planned on taking the entirety of 2014 off from touring.
