Kings of Leon fans have be warned to watch for measles symptoms following an outbreak of the illness linked to the band's performance in Washington State on March 28. Health officials from the state have issued an official statement on the outbreak and are encouraging the band's fans to get tested for the illness.

Incubus fronter Brandon Boyd will star in a new touring production of the Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical Jesus Christ Superstar. Boyd will star as Judas, while John Lydon (Sex Pistols) will star as King Herod. "In 1971, Andrew and I were thrilled by the first-ever Jesus Christ Superstar tour of the United States," Rice said.

Miley Cyrus canceled a show in Charlotte, North Carolina just half an hour before its schedule start time. E! News reports that the star was suffering from "throat and sinus" issues, which may also affect her upcoming gig in Raleigh. Hitting Twitter, Miley noted that she has been suffering from "excruciating pain." Fans who showed up to Charlotte's Time Warner Cable Arena were turned away.

Peter Criss has shot down accusations of anti Semitism made by his former KISS bandmate Paul Stanley. In his memoir, Face the Music: A Life Exposed, the guitarist says that Criss and Ace Frehley were jealous of his and Gene Simmons' work ethic, turning their jealousy into race hate.

Arcade Fire covered the Blondie classic "Heart of Glass" during a show in Houston earlier this week. Fronter Win Butler stepped aside to let Regine Chassagne tackle the vocals. Alicia Keys becomes a superhero in the music video for "It's On Again," a cut from The Amazing Spider-Man 2 soundtrack. Fans however will have to wait to see the entire vid. Keys is clad in black as Pharrell Williams leads a surveillance team in the newly released 45-second clip, which was shot in downtown Los Angeles.

Muse frontman Matt Bellamy will be featured on the new Kimbra album. Kimbra, who is known for her appearance on Gotye's smash hit "Somebody That I Used To Know," recorded alongside Bellamy ahead of the release of her second solo album, which is produced by Rich Costey. Faster Louder reports that Bellamy has recorded guitar parts for the album's lead single.

Josh Thompson has opened up about his early days as a songwriter, saying that he didn't start off writing hits. During a recent interview with Taste of Country, Josh says he got a late start as a writer. "I was 21 when I got my first guitar and took a couple lessons . . . and after about six months of learning three or four chords, I wrote my first song and it was horrible," he began.

Justin Bieber hit the studio with Lil Wayne recently for a late-night recording session. "Me and Tunechi in the studio," Bieber wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a pair of photos on himself next to Wayne in front of the mixing board. The two previously collaborated on the track "Backpack" for Wayne's Journals album.
