Chris Brown's Trial Delayed For Months
Chris Brown's upcoming assault trial has reportedly been pushed back by months. The move comes after a Washington, D.C. judge has refused to issue immunity to a bodyguard employed by Brown who was also involved in the incident. Breezy's bodyguard Christopher Hollosy was already convicted in the assault case in May and was expected to testify against his former boss. The singer's trial was expected to begin this week but is now on hold at the order of the judge.

Avril Lavigne's New Music Video Pulled Due To Criticism
Avril Lavigne has been called racist after dropping the video to her latest single "Hello Kitty." The vid, filmed in Japan, sees Avril hanging out with four Asian dancers in several locations. Billboard, among her critics, accused the pop star of fetishising Japanese culture. "RACIST??? LOLOLOL!!! I love Japanese culture and I spend half of my time in Japan," she said.

Gregg Allman Urges Midnight Rider Biopic To Stop Filming
Gregg Allman has joined the chorus of those pleading with the producers of Midnight Rider to stop filming. The biopic, whose subject is Allman, suffered a blow when one of its crew members, Sarah Jones, was struck and killed by a train while shooting a scene. "I am writing to you as one human being to another, and appealing to you from my heart," Allman wrote.

Beatles' Hard Day's Night Returning To Theaters This Summer
A restored version of the Beatles' 1964 film A Hard Day's Night will hit over 50 theaters nationwide on the July 4 weekend. The film premiered in early April at the TCM Classic Movie Film Festival in Hollywood. THR reports that distributor Janus Films hired producer Giles Martin, son of Sir George Martin, to remix and remaster the soundtrack at Abbey Road.
