Gregg Allman has put to bed rumors that the Allman Brothers Band are breaking up. Speaking with Radio.com, Gregg said that the group is simply shaking up its line up: "As for the rumor of the brothers breaking up after 45 years, in other words, after this year. That is a rumor. We are not breaking up. We are replacing Derek Trucks."

Foo Fighters fans in Richmond, Virginia have created the campaign to get the band to perform a hometown concert for the first time in over 15 years. The 'Help Bring The Foo Fighters Back To RVA' campaign, launched on crowdfunding site Crowdhoster, says "It's simple. The Foo Fighters haven't played Richmond, Virginia since May 17, 1998. Elvis Presley's estate has taken legal action against firearm manufacturer Beretta for the unauthorized use of the King's image in an ad. The gun maker uses a depiction of Elvis in its commercial for the 692 shotgun. "This is an intellectual property infringement action arising from Beretta's unlicensed and unauthorized use of plaintiff's intellectual property."

Flaming Lips' frontman Wayne Coyne and Miley Cyrus have completed work on a pair of Beatles covers. Coyne posted a video clip of a computer screen with a wave file showing and the sound of Cyrus crooning part of the Beatles tune "A Day in the Life" on his Instagram page. A woman in the United Kingdom was charged £2,600 (approximately $4,300) for downloading Neil Diamond's Best Of collection.
Katie Bryan, a math teacher from Lighthorne, South Warwickshire, downloaded the album while vacationing in South Africa and was unaware of the incurred roaming charges from mobile phone company Orange.
"It wasn't a particular song that I wanted to hear. I'm really not that big a Neil Diamond fan. And I'd already got his Essential Neil Diamond CD at home, in my car."
Orange agreed to lower the cost of the phone bill to £400.
"I think Orange are preying on people who make a mistake while abroad. Why such a massive difference in cost? In England you would just pay the album price," she told Contactmusic. "I also feel it is morally wrong to be expected to pay this sort of money for a Neil Diamond album."

JoJo joined her Atlantic Record label mate B.o.B. for an acoustic performance of "John Doe," a cut from the latter's latest album Underground Luxury. Bobby Ray played guitar on the cut while Jo filled in for Priscilla Renea on vocals before an intimate crowd. According to Stupid Dope, the muted rendition brings new life to the song.

Courtney Love has announced the impending release of "You Know My Name," to come as a double A side along with "Wedding Day" on May 4. "You Know My Name" has already debuted on the BBC and is available at YouTube.
