Rihanna Donates $25,000 To LAPD Charity After Breaking Cop's Phone
Rihanna has reportedly offered up a donation of $25,000 to a police charity after mistakenly smashing an LAPD official's phone. The mishap occurred when Riri attempted to snap a promotional selfie next to L.A. Police Commission President Steve Soboroff during a recent Clippers game. The singer just happened to be seated next to the commissioner who asked to take a selfie.

Aerosmith Forced To Cancel Show In Turkey Due To Tragedy
Aerosmith were forced to cancel their recent show in Istanbul, Turkey due to a tragic mining accident in the nearby town of Soma in which at least 200 local miners were killed and hundreds more were trapped after an explosion occurred in the mine. "My heartfelt prayers go out to those who have died, those who are still trapped and their families," lead singer Steven Tyler said.

Rihanna debuted a new hairstyle on Twitter as the singer this time changed her style to a short pink 'do. Posing in the passenger seat of a car with her best friend Melissa Forde, Rihanna winked at the camera and uploaded a picture captioned "wiggin out!!" She later could be seen rocking the new hairstyle while sitting courtside at Game 6 of the Oklahoma City Thunder and Los Angeles Clippers playoff series.

Taylor Swift Surprises Hall Of Fame Field Trip
Taylor Swift popped up at the Country Music Hall of Fame to surprise a fourth grade class from Tennessee's Lascassas Elementary School with an appearance. Swift answered questions and gave an impromptu performance of her hit "We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together." The Taylor Swift Education Center opened at the Museum in October after the songstress donated $4 million.

Pearl Jam Announce Fall U.S. Tour Dates
Pearl Jam has announced a dozen new tour dates this fall. The new dates kick off October 1 in Cincinnati at the US Bank Arena and include a stop at the Austin City Limits Festival. The band will play dates in Memphis, Detroit, Milwaukee and St. Louis before wrapping up in Denver on October 22 at the Pepsi Center.

Producers Of Midnight Rider Facing Wrongful Death Lawsuit
The producers on the set of the Gregg Allman biopic, Midnight Rider, are now the targets of a wrongful death suit. Earlier this year crew member Sarah Jones died during an on-set accident. The parents of the camera assistant are suing producers Jody Savin and Randall Miller, reports the Los Angeles Times.
