New Cat Stevens Release Due Next Month
Cat Stevens has confirmed plans to release a new album next month. The new release, titled Tell 'Em I'm Gone, is due to hit on October 27 and will be released under his current stage name, Yusuf. The release was co-produced by Rick Rubin and Stevens says the new release shows off a musical side that has always been hidden just below the surface.

Chrissie Hynde Wants Female Musicians To Keep Their Clothes On
Pretenders fronter Chrissie Hynde says she's sick of seeing female musicians take off their clothes to get attention. The singer knocked such sleazy female artists, calling them "porn stars": "There's a definite division of what I'd call porn stars trying to make records, and then musicians. If you go and see Kate Bush, you'll see a real musician," Hynde said.
