    Authorities have successfully thwarted a British teen's planned terrorist attack at an Elton John concert in London, according to reports. The Sun reports that 19-year-old Haroon Ali-Syed, a resident of West London, was arrested September 8 on charges of preparing acts of terrorism. Investigators targeted him on suspicion of planning to set off a nail bomb.

    Green Day have released a new video for their single "Bang Bang," which is taken off of the band's upcoming new album Revolution Radio. Directed by Rancid's Tim Armstrong, the new clip sees the band framed for bank robbery by a group of three youngsters in Green Day masks, who then proceed to shower the crowd with the stolen cash at a Green Day gig.

    The Grammy Museum in Los Angeles, California will celebrate the 40th anniversary of the Ramones self-titled debut album with a new exhibit entitled "Hey! Ho! Let's Go: Ramones And The Birth Of Punk." The exhibit will feature contributions from Ramones tour manager Monte Melnick, Joey Ramone's brother and Ramones' original stage manager Mickey Leigh and others.

    Van Morrison producer Lewis Merenstein has died at the age of 81, according to Rolling Stone. Merenstein is known for helping create some of Morrison's classic albums, such as 1968's Astral Weeks and 1970's Moondance. Ryan Hamilton Walsh was the first person to report Merenstein's passing.
