Do you have any recommendation for Indicator to identify the horizontal/sideway markets?

You can look at the following two threads:

Besicly, I like AbsoluteStrength indicator (look at this public post for the explanation and the links to download).

    ---------------

There is one thread in premium section namely: Indicators and templates to evaluate the market condition (premium section link sorry) where I am posting the indicators/templates to evaluate the market condition for example:

It can be any signal indicator (BBands_Stop_v3.2 600+ from this post for example, or any other) together with some filter in separate window (I_XO_A_H_5d indicator is attached as an example).

    Brokerage Choice

    Hi Guys,

I have been demo trading for few months with different broker MT4 platforms. Being a infant in this domain, I really need some advice from the fellow pro traders in this forum. The golden question, which broker to choose ?

ND has lot of tips in the Forex Broker section and has a nice post here.

I'm sure many would agree that the choice of broker is as important as your trading stratergy. Its real money and you need someone with high credentials. A brokers that dont work against you and where the money is safe and you can get it when required.

Naturally, I'm looking at highly regulated brokers.. USA, UK, Singapore and Australia. I dont need high leverage since I'm not here to gamble.

    Nothing particual, I looked at these;
    IG (UK)
    City Index (Singapore)
    IC Markers (Australia)
    Tickmill (UK)
    FxPro (UK)
    Pepperstone (Australia)
Dukascopy (Swiss) but no MT4, gave up.

But, when I read the general review, it makes my head spin. None of them gets good review.. Well, I know we need to take the review with a pinch of salt.. most of them are biased and lots of fake ones. With extremly high rate of failure in fx you can expect reviews like that.

Tradepoofer looks genuine, but they dont provide reviews on brokers

Judging from this forum content and its years of existence, I'm sure there are many professional traders here. Can I have some geniune review or recommendation on the brokers?

Of late, I have been putting nearly 12 hrs day on learning, I dont want to put myself with a bucket shop.

I really want to be a pro trader in the near future.

Looking forward to your advice on the brokerages.

    Thanks and reagrds
    rock

    Two Utilities

Some may find these two utilities useful.

    1. Shows the day of the week on top
    2. Shows the Candle time and Spread
