ForexFactory Economic Calendar

ForexFactory Economic Calendar v2.71 running ok for MT4 build 745. By the way i attached here the History file for 2013 (whole year) and 2014 (up to October) in case someone need it.

I'm not able to see the calendar
I think I have done everything but still do not working
I just see on the top left next download will be available after 1970 ... etc etc

about the folder I have created them in mq4/expert ... etc etc
the indicator do not created the folder
any idea?

Hi Dave,

It works for me.

1. Open Metatrader, and in MT4 menu: File - Open Data Folder
2. Place ForexFactoryNews_v2.7 600+ indicator to ..\MQL4\Indicators
3. Open any chart and attach indicator to the chart (indicator will create ForexFactoryNews folder)
4. Close this chart with indicator
5. Place !LastLoadedWeek.csv file in ...\MQL4\Files\ForexFactoryNews
6. Extract (use Winrar to extract the files from Winrar archives) the files from this post and this post.
7. Place extracted files (extracted files, not folders) to \MQL4\Files\ForexFactoryNews\History folder
8. Open chart, attach indicator and wait ...

After few minutes - you will have the following:

This is Data Folder (and you will find all other folders inside this data Folder):

I have understood, I'm using a /portable version of mt4 and is not working you have to use a standard installation, any idea how to fix it?

and one more thing, I'm unable to see the vertical lines, any idea?

I am not using /portable sorry so I have no idea ...
May be - Igorad knows some way about how to make it work in /portable

Hi Dave,

The indicator should work as a /portable version. I prefer to work in this mode on the Windows7. Just check the ../MQL4/Files/ForexFactoryNews folder.

If you wish to have lines on the chart then please move a bit the button [Lines].

"button" works .... but on my portable mt4 there is no way ... the indicator do not create any folder, if a create manually the folder still do not work, but as soon as I used a non portable installation (the same, but without clicking onto the shortcut with the portable option) it worked in seconds! by the way the indicator in incredible!

On linux OS the FF calender are working as well, news updating without problem. For example i'm running it on openSUSE Linux desktop with latest wine build (1.7.36) and latest MT4 build (Version 765).
