NRTR is Nick Rypock Trailing Reverse and the theory behind it is the following:

This Nick Rypock concept or idea was created by Konstantin Kopyrkin in 2001 ... If we read 'Nick Rypock' from back to front so we will receive the name of the author of idea ... by the way - it is good idea to name the idea by own name

I opened the thread about this indicators' versions because it was part of old asctrend trading system for many years and I used it for the long time.

Indicator for metatrader 4 is attached.

Igorad coded NRTR Color Line indicator for Metatrader 5 platform as well. This indicator works very wekk with Asctrend indicator for Metatrader 5.

I am not Igorad ... but as far as I understand - this NRTR Color Line indicator is used to be as a filter (to filter false bearish/bullish signals).
So, it is not a signal indicator telling about where to buy and where to sell for example.
Besides, this indicator may tell about reversal (from bearish to the bullish and vice versa).

Correct Sergey

Never observe two consecutive signals in the same direction

Always a bullish signal followed by a bearish signal

* For that reason I reported it, I did not see it normal, and I thought that surely something was wrong in the code.

It is surely a good signal filter, even if it was built for that reason.
