Paul Simon has written a new song which will function as the theme song for Horace and Pete, a new series from comedian Louis C.K.. The web series stars Steve Buscemi and C.K. as brothers who run a dive bar in Brooklyn called Horace and Pete's. "Hell no, I can't complain about my problems / I'm OK the way things are / I pull my stool up to the bar . . ."

Adele has asked Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to stop using her music - in particular the cuts "Skyfall" and "Rolling in the Deep" - at his campaign rallies. "Adele has not given permission for her music to be used for any political campaigning," a rep for the singer told The Independent.

Anthrax fronter Scott Ian has publicly called for fellow metal head Phil Anselmo to make a donation to a Jewish charity. Anselmo, who once fronted Pantera, recently flashed the Nazi salute and shouted "white power" during a show, a move he later claimed was a joke. "Friends. Hate speech. Racism. Inflammatory rhetoric. All dangerous no matter what the context."

Blake Shelton has been nominated for a Kids' Choice Award for Favorite Male Vocalist. He will also host the event. "The nominees are out now and I can't wait to see who wins," Shelton says. Usher and Future have been announced for the 9th Annual Roots Picnic in Philadelphia. Billed as the "biggest Roots Picnic yet," the 23 performances will take place across three stages, with Leon Bridges, DMX, Swizz Beatz, Kehlani, Jidenna, Migos, Lil Dicky and Willow Smith also set to perform.

Metallica have announced plans to offer a free webcast of their sold-out pre-Super Bowl performance at AT&T Park, dubbed "The Night Before." "The concert has been sold out for months, but we don't want anyone to be left out," Metallica announced on their website. "So spend Super Bowl eve with us, no matter where you are that night!"

The Rolling Stones kicked off their 2016 tour at Chile's Estadio Nacional on Wednesday night, giving a performance of their 1967 tune "She's a Rainbow" for the first time in 18 years. The Stones asked fans to choose between four songs ("Anybody Seen My Baby," "She's So Cold," "Like a Rolling Stone" and "Rainbow"), and fans voted for the latter.
