Keith Urban recently laid a big kiss on a Louisiana teacher during an interview prior to his New Orleans Jazz Fest set. The kiss came prior to Urban's rain-shortened set at the annual festival. Billboard reports that the singer performed impromptu versions of "Somebody Like You" and "Raise 'Em Up" before the Q&A portion of the show.

Jason Michael Carroll has released the lyric video for "God Only Knows," the second track from his upcoming album. In a statement, Carroll said that he had another song in mind when he wrote it. Kanye West has announced via Twitter that he's changed the name of his upcoming album to Swish. He made the announcement on Sunday, May 3. "I'm changing my album name to SWISH," he wrote, later adding, "I might change it again but that's the name now." The Verge speculated that West may be just goofing on his fans and critics alike.

Joni Mitchell will exit the hospital soon, according to several reports. The folk legend was said to be found unconscious in late March, but has been steadily improving since. Mitchell's website later denied that she was ever found unconscious, and offered an update on her health. "Joni is still in the hospital - but she comprehends, she's alert, and she has her full senses."

The Foo Fighters have signed on for a headlining set at this year's upcoming Austin City Limits Festival. This year's event will bring over 140 acts to Austin, Texas' Zilker Park and is set to kick off over two weekends - October 2-4 and October 9-11. This year the Foos join an impressive lineup of fellow artists set to take the stage including Strokes.

Yeah Yeah Yeahs singer Karen O has paid tribute to journalist Nellie Bly with a new song. The song was released to mark what would have been Bly's 151th birthday. The new song "Oh, Nellie" was penned by O especially for the Google Doodle.

Eric Church says that there will be more acoustic shows coming up on his current tour and that he is looking forward to them. "We're opening [the new Ascend] Amphitheatre in Nashville [on July 30], and I'm going to do that by myself, solo acoustic," Church tells Rolling Stone Country. "So I'm going to start doing a little bit of that here and there when the situation calls for it."

KISS have teamed up with the Scooby Doo crew for a new animated movie called Scooby-Doo! and Kiss: Rock and Roll Mystery. The cover art, just released, features the band in its traditional paint and garb, while Shaggy and Scooby play guitar and wear KISS-themed face paint. The film will be available on Blu-ray, DVD and digital HD on July 10 and will feature KISS members.

The new director and stars to feature in the new Kinks biopic, You Really Got Me, have finally been announced. Julien Temple, most well known for directing the Sex Pistols mockumentary The Great Rock 'n' Roll Swindle, will helm the upcoming film. Johnny Flynn has been chosen to play Ray Davies.
