Nintendo Switch Lite is in stock at GameStop: Latest inventory update - CNET

    Name: nintendo-switch-lite-1.jpg

Size: 69.2 KB

The coronavirus pandemic has caused a huge upswing in videogame usage as millions continue to stay home. That's left the Nintendo Switch nearly impossible to find since at least March, as the pandemic has disrupted the global electronics supply chain and the fact that sleazy resellers have been using bots to scoop up what little inventory exists. Oh, and the popularity of Animal Crossing: New Horizons hasn't helped, either.

But starting at the end of April, the Nintendo Switch Lite slowly but surely returned to many retailer shelves, popping up at Amazon, GameStop, Best Buy and Target -- and often disappearing just as quickly. We're collating available stock here at the MSRP of $200, but note that pricing and availability change frequently. Please double-check before completing a purchase.

And no, you can't connect this version of the Switch to your TV -- that's only the pricier $299 Switch that remains out of stock nearly everywhere, though there are indications that shortage may finally begin abating by summer. But if you need more encouragement to take the plunge on the Lite model, you can read CNET's review of the Switch Lite.
    GameStop

    Amazon

Right now, Amazon has no units available for online purchase at $200.

    Best Buy

Right now, Best Buy has no units available for online purchase at $200.

    Target

Right now, Target has no units available for online purchase at $200.

Sounds like the Kia Optima name is dead, K5 name inbound

It looks like Optima is no more, make room for K5.

Kia When Kia invited Roadshow to drive its new midsize sedan last year, we didn't drive an Optima. We drove a K5, which is what the company calls the Optima in its home market of South Korea. We've been missing US-specific information on the sedan since then, but it could be because the Optima name isn't actually returning.
Instead, it looks like Kia will likely swap the name for K5 in the US as well. Motor Trend first reported Tuesday on an EPA listing for a 2021 Kia K5, which seems like a strong indicator the Optima name won't return when the next-generation sedan debuts for us Americans.

Why Kia would ditch the Optima name, which has been around in the US since 2000, is a tad unclear. Perhaps it's just simple consolidation to bring things in line globally. The brand didn't immediately return Roadshow's request for comment and confirmation on the name.

Apple Arcade is packed with games for everyone.

Apple firmly staked its claim in the gaming world back in September with its game-subscription service, Apple Arcade. The service costs $4.99 (£4.99, AU$7.99) a month and lets you play more than 120 new and exclusive games across the iPhone, iPad, Mac, iPod Touch and Apple TV. Not all games are available on all platforms -- there are a couple dozen on Mac, for example.
