This is similar in appearance to II_SupDem, though not in the code as I've written this from scratch. I liked how II_SupDem created zones rather than exact price levels, but I wanted preservation of strong zones that are broken by the market in case they "switch sides", ie resistance-turned-support & vice versa.

If you see any bugs or have any suggestions, or better still, code, for improving this indicator, please let me know. You may also wish to visit my manual S/R based discussion thread at viewtopic.php?f=16&t=553, and Pippa's Crosstrader EA (which uses this indicator) forum at viewtopic.php?f=61&t=1999.

Edit: Updated to the latest version SS_SupportResistance_v0.4c, which includes alerts when zones are entered plus a bunch of other features/fixes added in other intermediate versions scattered throughout the thread.

Another Edit: LibSSSRv3 added to the downloads. It provides all the functionality of the indicator, except it does not (a) draw boxes or text, (b) set global variables, and (c) produce alerts. Its meant to be called directly by EAs, thus avoiding the need to use the indicator via iCustom calls or using global variables. Oh, and you can also process S/R zones for any currency pair, not just the one your EA's running on. I've added a sample EA using the library to better illustrate its use.

    Where is v0.4c for download?
Could you make text color to white or make it extern color so it can be more visible?

    Thank you for the link.
None of the indicators out there can capture the true Supply and Demand zones as described here: 21pips.com | The bouncing zones 2
Namely: strength, time spent and size of the zone as compared to the price movement thereafter.

    Of course,
''None of the indicators out there can capture the true Supply and Demand zones as described here''
Nd explained veywell what is supdem, at this thread.
What i think? No body or no indicator can find the exact levels. Evey condition can force to change the levels.
And also everbody has an opinion for these levels. (sam, 21pips, etc.) So there is no true and exact way.

So, why was I joking? This is not something obvious to anyone who is looking.
All the indicators we posted here called "supply and demand" (except the SS_Support_Resistance) " are actually not, not just because of difference in interpretations. They are not following the definitions. The definitions are actually very clear. Pivot points are not supply and demand (Sam Seiden mentioned this many times).
With clear definitions of supply demand, still no one has come up with a proper indicator.
I just want to point this out so a programmer might want to start working on it.
I don't joke. I don't have any sense of humor.

Would be a good idea to use the indicator in conjunction with others for confirmation. Sometimes just one indicator may not tell the whole story as support in one time frame may be resistance in another, but I really like this indicator. Thanks to all the contributors.
