I use the Newstrader EA regularly and usually it works fine. However, recently it has started to enter the straddle trade prior to the news event and open/cancels the pending trade, multiple times (see the attached chart for the AUDUSD today), with no straddle set at the time of the news event. So, a trade is not able to be executed. Is this behaviour something that you have experienced with the EA previously?

It may be spykes to both sides of the market price, or something related to the broker ...
It is difficult to catch and to repeat ...

Anyway, I will pass this question to Igorad and he may suggest for some settings of the EA to prevent this issue for example.

It's difficult to understand what happened in this case with the EA. Could you post your settings and the expert log file for this date.
