Unreleased David Bowie Song 'To Be Love' Available For Download

Malik Taylor, the rapper known as Phife Dawg whose nimble, clever rhymes helped launch A Tribe Called Quest to both commercial and critical success, died Tuesday at the age of 45 from complications resulting from diabetes. Rolling Stone has confirmed the rapper's death.

Taylor had had health issues for years, undergoing a kidney transplant in 2008 to deal with a longtime battle with diabetes. "It's really a sickness," Taylor said in Beats, Rhymes & Life, Michael Rapaport's candid 2011 documentary on the group. "Like straight-up drugs. I'm just addicted to sugar."

"Malik was our loving husband, father, brother and friend," his family said in a statement. "We love him dearly. How he impacted all our lives will never be forgotten. His love for music and sports was only surpassed by his love of God and family."

Edward Snowden and Jean-Michel Jarre have made a techno track

Jean-Michel Jarre and Edward Snowden collaborate on new song Exit

NSA whistleblower Edward Snowden has collaborated with French electronic pioneer Jean-Michel Jarre on a techno track to be released this weekend.

The unusual team-up came about after Jarre was interviewed for the Guardian last year. He asked if he could be put in touch with Snowden, whose revelations about US government surveillance were published in the newspaper.

Jarre had come up with a “hectic, obsessive techno track, trying to illustrate the idea of this crazy quest for big data on one side and the manhunt for this one young guy by the CIA, NSA and FBI on the other,” he explained, calling Snowden “an absolute hero of our times”.

‘Exit’ features Snowden’s voice (speaking, not singing) and appears on Jarre’s forthcoming album of collaborations, Electronica Volume II: The Heart Of Noise, alongside tracks featuring Pet Shop Boys, Jeff Mills, Cyndi Lauper and many more.

The pair conducted a 90 minute conversation over Skype before recording the vocals, and Jarre later travelled to Moscow to shoot a video with Snowden.

George Harrison's Twitter account was recently hacked by a man who didn't realize he was dead. The Twitter account, which is run by the Beatles estate, was hacked on Tuesday, June 7 by @j5zlol, who claimed to want to help secure Harrison's account. Apparently it was hacked to change some of his bio information.

"It's famous musicians and artists at risk," j5Z told The Daily Beast. "If you're a celebrity, you should change your password immediately. Literally everyone should just create a new email, think of a new password, and do it for every account."
