Britney Spears has spoken out against a proposed change in law that would require artists to allow sampling of their music without licenses. Spears was amongst several top artists who submitted statements to the Department of Commerce on Monday opposing the measure.

Mariah Carey has recruited Trey Songz for the remix of "You're Mine (Eternal)," her Valentine's Day single and most recent cut from her upcoming album, The Art of Letting Go. On Wednesday night (7:50 PM EST) MTV will debut the video for the original cut, which was shot at Puerto Rico's El Yunge National Rain Forest.

Jennifer Lopez and Pitbull have joined forces to shoot the music video for their collaborative track "We Are One (Ole Ola)." The shoot, which took place in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., features J-Lo sporting a colorful top and hot pants as she performs atop a float surrounded by scantily-clad dancers and Brazilian flags.

Damon Albarn has confirmed a string of intimate solo tour dates in London. The dates come in support of his debut solo album Everyday Robots and will include stops at the Rivoli Ballroom on April 30 and the People's Palace on May 1. The LP hits just days before (April 28) and will feature appearances by Brian Eno and Bat For Lashes singer Natasha Khan.

After selling out one date in Atlanta for his Burn It Down tour, Jason Aldean has scheduled two more dates. The first show, slotted for May 17, sold out quickly, prompting the singer to add two more dates. Tickets go on sale at 10 PM EST on Friday, February 21. Aldean's Burn It Down trek kicks off May 1 in Roanoke, Virginia. The tour will hit several baseball stadiums.

Seether have announced a spring tour with Black Stone Cherry. The hard rockers will kick things off on April 26 at Ft. Meyers, Florida's Jet Blue Park and wrap up on May 21 at Sioux Falls, South Dakota's The District. During the trek, Seether is expected to preview material from its upcoming untitled album. They are currently working on the LP with producer Brendan O'Brien.
