The remake has earned high praise, even from the band's Curt Smith, who called it "absolutely amazing," according to the Hollywood Reporter.

Taylor Swift has signed on to appear at this year's Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. The event airs live on CBS on December 10 and will also feature a performance by Fall Out Boy. Reps for Victoria's Secret broke news of this year's performers on their official Twitter feed. Other performers confirmed for the event include A Great Big World and Neon Jungle.

Rolling Stones, Led Zeppelin and Black Sabbath all took home awards at the recent Classic Rock Roll of Honor awards. The Stones won Band of the Year, which fronter Mick Jagger accepted via video link: "We had a fantastic summer here in the U.K. Glastonbury was one of the most exciting gigs we've ever done, and Hyde Park was a wonderful summer's evening."

Chris Young has earned a gold certification for his single "Aw Naw," which was released as part of his most recent effort A.M. Speaking with Billboard, Young explained why the landmark was especially sweet this time around: "It's very different than what we've put out before, but still very much me, and something I would say. Kanye West gave a lecture at Harvard as part of his Yeezus tour. The lecture took place on Sunday, when West visited the Harvard Graduate School of Design. West checked out the student work and treated the class to tickets to his Boston show later that night as well as giving the lecture.

Keith Urban has debuted the music video for "We Were Us," the latest single from his new album, Fuse. The song and vid feature an appearance from Miranda Lambert. It was filmed on location before a live audience at Edna's bar in Oklahoma City and directed by Becky Fluke and Reid Long.

Prince released a new track, "Da Bourgeoisie," via Twitter on Tuesday, November 18. "'Da Bourgeoisie' is the title of the new song, not 'Ray Charles,' 'Bearded Lady' or anything else prejudicial," he explained, adding, "No mammals were harmed during the recording of this track."

Matt Cameron, drummer for Soundgarden, says he will not be able to tour with the band on its 2014 run. In a post to the band's official website, Matt said that he's got a prior commitment to Pearl Jam: "I will be taking 2014 off from Soundgarden touring due to prior commitments promoting Lightning Bolt with my brothers in Pearl Jam . . ."

Arcade Fire have responded to fans after causing some controversy by requesting a dress code for their upcoming Reflektor tour dates. In an official post on the band's Facebook page the members told fans not to worry, the dress code is just a suggestion. "To everyone really upset about us asking people to dress up at our shows . . . please relax. It's super not mandatory."
