Word of the marital troubles comes from a source close to the couple, who tells the U.K.'s The Sun that their hectic lifestyles are starting to catch up with them. The director of the Super Bowl halftime show had previously sounded off against Katy Perry, calling her performance at the 2015 event "awful." The halftime show drew 118.5 million viewers, marking a significant bump over the game itself, which only drew 114.4 million. Billboard show director Hamish Hamilton said that he was nervous about Perry's artistic choice.

Steven Tyler is currently raising funds for his Janie's Fund, providing support for young female victims of abuse and neglect, and recruited a number of celebrities including Carrie Underwood, Bono and Elton John, to help the cause. In a new video on Billboard, Tyler explained, "There really, really, really are ways out. And that's all."

A few young New York socialites did not put their best foot forward during a recent encounter with rock legend Eric Clapton. According to Page Six, old Slow Hand was hanging out at a lavish club in New York's Chelsea neighborhood when two "model types" asked the icon to help snap a selfie. Several witnesses on hand said that Clapton was good sport.

Sales of Scott Weiland's music have reportedly skyrocketed in the weeks following his death. The former Stone Temple Pilots rocker was found dead while on tour with his band in Bloomington, Minnesota, on December 3. According to Billboard, eight of the top ten songs on their Hard Rock Digital Songs chart were held by one of the bands formerly fronted by Weiland.

Faith Hill has been honored by her hometown in Mississippi with a marker on that state's Country Music Trail attraction. The singer is native of the small town of Star, Mississippi and there is a now a large marker sign in front of what was her home before she left the town to pursue her dreams in Nashville.

Miley Cyrus and The Flaming Lips have shared the Christmas-themed track "My Sad Christmas Song," taken off of their Miley Cyrus and Her Dead Petz project. Cyrus shared the song on Christmas Eve with a note to fans, "#MerryF**kingChristmas." The song release was accompanied by artwork in which Miley sits dressed as a sad elf in the midst of a Christmas scene.
