I would like to introduce in this thread a young graphic artist and painter, her alias is BrassDragon.



Although she was born in Hungary, from her 18th she lives in Belgium, now in her late twenties.

At the moment when she got a pen in her small hands, her drawing love sprang out from her gene and as she was a toddler at that time she drew all over her doll. The urge to illustrate has followed her through school, private classes, a semester in graphic design, all over the university years and her spare time.

The soul of her models is what really excites her besides the models' appearance. Consequently, she takes pride in bringing forward images that create, connect or kindle something in the spectator - or even between people.

She speaks several languages, like English, German, Dutch, Russian, French and Hungarian.

The Sorceress

Emerald Illusionist

"I just found a beautifully looking gal on a models' site a few days ago, and I thought I could try transfer that gorgeous look into something otherwordly or exotic... Thus here's this pic.
She is a mage or sorceress, calling forth an illusion of a dove - her magical energies mainly manifesting in emerald colours.
She might be a human, half-elf or even elf; I didn't decide that as of yet.

The Last Fire

"An angel of death... kindly comforting a forlorn boy - and looking out at the Last Fire. Is that the burning village of the boy? Is it his parents' funeral pyre? Or is it the setting sun?

This drawing was an exercise at lighting on various surfaces - wings, metal, cloth, transparent cloth, face and hair.

Rolland - Shadow in the Heart

"This was my Secret Santa Gift entry for my Secret Santa Recipient...
She left the choice open to have any of her characters drawn from her Forgotten Realms gallery. I chose Rolland, her halfling assassin and priest of Mask, the god of thieves and darker things still!

Any Price to Protect

"Titus, descendant of a banished people and father finding his son threatened on all sides, has chosen to do all it takes to protect his family, at any price. A price which he makes others pay...

Surrounded by the demons that bolster him, the necromancer is ready to raise the dead to do his bidding. He channels his staff's magic which serves as the focal point to the torturous doom of these puppets of bone. All these he uses under the conviction that he can save his family."

Vaelahrn Twins

"The characters you see are Elora and Sterling Vaelahrn, twins.

They come from the NeverwinterNights server "The Way Inn" where I was one of the founders - so I remember these characters, and their players, very well. "The Way Inn" and its denizens were set in the Forgotten Realms.

The Way Inn is the building behind the pair, famous as a roadside hub on the Sword Coast where all manner of travellers and adventurers meet. The twins themselves were some of the newer arrivals and would, like adventurers tend to do, stand out in a crowd: not only because Elora was a soft-spoken evoker and Sterling a warrior-dreaming-of-knighthood, but also because they were half-elven. Here, they stand at sunrise, symbolic of their budding career.

Silver

"... moon elf character, Silivierien or "Silver" for short - a nickname that fits all too well with her striking hair colour. Youthful and cocky, Silver developed her sorcerous powers at rapid speed not just by elven standards but even on a human scale. She was one of the many adventurers who led a most eventful life near The Way Inn (and the Forgotten Realms-based NWN server of the same name).

Ysera



The artist said:

"Ysera, the Emerald Dragon, the Queen of Dreams is a mystical figure from World of Warcraft who can take two shapes - dragon or night elf. She is the green Dragon Aspect, who was charged with the protection of the Emerald Dream, but also watched over Azeroth. To the druids, she was known as the "mother" of Cenarius, but since she is a dragon, this is not literal.
