Bruce Springsteen has been given a pass on a parking ticket issued to one of his tour busses in the U.K. The Boss was cited for parking illegally while his bus was loaded following a show at First Direct Arena in Leeds, but now the city council has waived the ticket. Their decision to rescind the fine came after an outpouring of support from Springsteen fans.

Thompson Square have been announced as one of the headliners at Forever Festival, a seven day and seven night event that takes place at varied venues the world over from August 4-11. T Square play at Portland's Bing Lounge, along with special guest JJ Grey. Every gig will be broadcast at Forever fest's page on the live concert streaming site irocke.com.

Vitaly Milonov, a Russian politician, has filed a request for the nation's prosecutor general to begin an investigation into Lady Gaga's 2012 stay in Russia. Milonov claims that Gaga played a live show while in the country on a tourist visa. Should the claim prove correct, the Mother Monster would have broken a law which prevents earning money.

A new film, David Bowie Is Happening Now, will be broadcast from Cardiff's Chapter Arts Centre as part of the grand finale to the Wales exhibition. A behind the scenes tour of the recent exhibition at London's Victoria & Albert museum about David Bowie will be brought to Welsh audiences next month, as the exhibit is broadcast direct from the museum to cinemas across the country.

Jordin Sparks has released a new single "Skipping a Beat," a track she wrote for her man, Jason Derulo. The former American Idol champ also posted an Instagram video of her singing the track to Derulo. "You're my lover, you're my friend, you're my gangsta," she coos on the track which is currently streaming freely via SoundCloud.

Jessie J has revealed the cover art for her second single "It's My Party." The cover image features a gang of Jessie J's clad in white, striking a number of poses in front of a white background. "It's My Party" is culled from her yet-to-be titled sophomore album, set to be released sometime this year. The follow-up to her 2011 debut, Who We Are, is reportedly nearly done.

Rise Against have announced plans to release a set of rare B-sides and covers, Long Forgotten Songs: B-Sides & Covers 2000-2013, this fall. The comp features 26 previously unreleased songs. "The songs on this record are different versions of existing Rise Against songs, covers or originals that never made it on a record for some reason," fronter Tim McIlrath said.

Jefferson Starship guitarist Slick Aguilar revealed that he recently underwent a liver transplant. "The surgery is over and the liver is in," announced a post on Aguilar's Facebook page Wednesday. Kanye West has signed on to appear at the upcoming 2013 MTV Music Awards. The event is set to take place at Brooklyn's Barclays Center on August 25. West will reportedly offer up renditions of "Yeezus" and "BLKKK SKKKN HEAD," two of his most recent singles. Kanye's performance will mark his seventh straight appearance at the MTV VMAs.
