    Iggy Pop has released his collaborative record with Josh Homme (Queens of the Stone Age) for streaming. The release, which Pop says may be his last, is available via NPR. Pop's band on the album includes Homme, Matt Helders (drummer for the Arctic Monkeys), and QOTSA's Dean Fertita.

    A collaborator of Kendrick Lamar has revealed that the emcee may release even more of his demos from To Pimp A Butterfly. The Compton rapper shocked the hip hop world earlier this month when he released a selection of his demos from the album and titled it Untitled Unmastered.

    The filmmaker behind the Nirvana documentary Kurt and Courtney has announced plans for a new doc about Whitney Houston. Director Nick Broomfield will explore the life and times of Houston in the new film, which is being created in association with BBC2. It was also recently revealed that Bobbi Kristina Brown died of a combination of drugs and water.
