Frances Bean Cobain's estranged husband is reportedly demanding the last guitar ever played by Kurt Cobain as part of their divorce settlement. Cobain wed Isaiah Silva at an intimate ceremony in June 2014 in front of around 15 guests. TMZ reports that Silva is claiming that Frances Bean had given him Cobain's Martin D-18E acoustic guitar as a wedding present.

Courtney Love confirmed that the item was the last instrument that Kurt ever played, calling it "a treasured heirloom of the family" and saying that it wasn't Silva's to take. She added, "I'm very glad that [Frances Bean is] out of this very dangerous and toxic relationship."
