Brad Paisley's New Album Features Mick Jagger And Timbaland

Brad Paisley has revealed that his new album will feature appearances by not only Rolling Stones frontman Mick Jagger, but also Timbaland. "Mick Jagger has a song on there with me that is gonna flip you out," Paisley revealed during an interview with Taste of Country Nights' Sam Alex. "John Fogerty and I have been writing, and wait 'til you hear that."
The country star explained that he has been hard at work on new music for the record all spring and hopes to take some of those new songs on the road with him when he kicks off his Life Amplified Tour, which also features Maddie & Tae and Tyler Farr, on May 19

Miguel And Sia Announce Tour

Miguel is set to open for Sia on her upcoming Nostalgic for the Present Tour. The "Adorn" singer and AlunaGeorge have both been chosen as opening acts for the 40-year-old Australian singer, who played Coachella last month. The 22-date tour will kick off on September 29 at Seattle's KeyArena and wrap up on November 6 at Austin's Frank Erwin Center.
Sia released her last album, This is Acting last January. The album, which debuted at number one in Australia and reached number four on the Billboard 200, produced the singles "Alive" and "Cheap Thrills."

Willie Nelson Confirms Fourth Of July Picnic

Willie Nelson has officially announced his annual Fourth of July picnic event. Tickets for the 43rd annual event will go on sale starting on May 20 and will run between $85 for VIP tickets and $39 for general admission lawn tickets. Speaking of last year's event, Nelson explained how he first conceived of the picnic.
"I got the idea from Woodstock about how music could bring people from different places together," Nelson said last year. "I had just moved to Austin and had come to realize what a great music center it was and could be."

Josh Turner has released "Hometown Girl," the lead single off of his upcoming sixth studio album. The new release is Turner's first single in nearly 18 months. "I need me a little homegrown, hometown girl," he sings on the new track. "I've been lookin' all over the world for a pretty little hometown girl." "The first time I heard 'Hometown Girl' I was excited," Turner said.

Liam Gallagher Hints At Returning To Music

Liam Gallagher has hinted at making a return to music in a cryptic new Twitter message. One tweet reads, "Lots of exciting things happening time to get back in ring give us a call ROVER," while another simply says, "Groove is in the art." After Oasis broke up in 2009, Gallagher formed the new band Beady Eye, releasing two albums with the group before splitting in 2014.
According to the Daily Star, when asked if he'd consider getting back on stage with his brother, he said, "For twenty million quid, one gig - that is good money isn't it? But I have never had that offer from anyone yet."

Damon Albarn and Adele were among the big winners at the Ivor Novello Awards, which took place in London on Thursday. The honors are voted on by the U.K. songwriting and composing community. Adele won the Songwriter of the Year award, while Albarn took home the Lifetime Achievement award. "I won it on my last album as well," Adele said at the INAs.
Accepting his award, Albarn said, "What is songwriting? What is it all about? True songwriters are people who are able to release themselves from something that's really affected them by writing a song about it."

Lil Wayne's Reality Show Coming To VH1

Lil Wayne and VH1 are teaming up for a new reality series centered around the rapper, according to Young Money's Stephanie Acevedo. The new series is tentatively titled Lil Wayne's House. In a Facebook interview with famed plastic surgeon Dr. Miami, Acevedo said the new deal was recently inked. "We just got a contract with VH1," she explained.
"We just got a contract with VH1," she explained. "We're going to be doing a reality show that we're gonna be shooting in July in L.A."

Rodney Atkins is set to host the sixth annual Music City Gives Back benefit concert. The country singer will be performing at the event along with Dustin Lynch, Craig Campbell, Lanco and Canaan Smith. "This is hands-down one of my favorite events to do every year," Atkins says in a press release.

"We started it as a way to help our friends and neighbors in the community who were affected by the huge flood in 2010, and it just keeps growing every year and has become a fun way for us to support some of the great organizations we have in Nashville like the W.O. Unreleased David Bowie Song To Be Featured In BBC Documentary Unveiled

A previously unreleased demo of David Bowie's 1969 number one single "Space Oddity" with alternative lyrics is set to be aired in a new BBC4 documentary. The People's History Of Pop is a four-part BBC4 series covering music fans' recollections of 1956-1996. The first episode, which aired in April, covered the formation of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
"The show meets music fans, including some who fell in love with the psychedelic sounds of Sgt Pepper, hippies who discovered peace and love at the Isle of Wight Festival, and Black Sabbath fans who turned to the new sounds of heavy metal," a statement regarding the show reads.

Beyoncé Concert Delayed In Minneapolis

Beyoncé's recent concert in Minneapolis was delayed for 45 minutes due to weather on what was the newly minted "Beyoncé Day" in that city. The lady Bey was set to hit the stage in Minneapolis on May 23 at the TCF Bank Stadium.
Just fifteen minutes before her set was to kick off at 8:15 p.m., all 35,000 of the fans were evacuated out of the open bowl section of the venue. The fans were held for 45 minutes before being allowed back into the bowl at which time the show resumed.
The singer hit the stage promptly and thanked fans for hanging on with her saying, "Thank you for riding out the storm with me."
Beyoncé released her sixth studio album, Lemonade, on April 23.
