Bush And Chevelle Announce 2016 Summer Tour

Bush kicked off their co-headlining tour with Chevelle at Huntington, New York's the Paramount on May 5. Currently, Bush is playing dates without Chevelle, but the two acts will hook up on July 21 at Walker, Minnesota's Moondance Jam Festival for a series of dates this summer. Bush's last record, Man on the Run, was released in 2016.

The previous two singles released from the album include the title track and "Flatliner," which features Dierks Bentley. For his first album Swindell wrote all but one song, but for this one he had help from other songwriters.

The Cure Debuts Two New Songs As They Kick Off U.S. Tour

The Cure kicked off their latest North American tour with the debut of two brand new songs, "Step Into the Light" and "It Can Never Be the Same." The band kicked off their current tour in New Orleans at the UNO Lakefront Arena where they performed the new material. Fan footage of both can be seen online. The band's North American tour will encompass 27 dates in 22 cities.
The Cure will also play a handful of arena gigs in London and Manchester at the end of the year, which represents their first U.K. tour dates since 2008.

Prince Saw Doctor Day Before He Died

According to a search warrant, Prince saw Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg, who prescribed him with unknown medications twice before his death in April, including on the day before his death, April 20. The initial autopsy to determine the cause of Prince's death was inconclusive, while officials await the return of toxicology tests.
Six days before his death, he fell unconscious in a private plane, forcing it to make an emergency landing. According to reports he was subsequently treated with an opioid overdose antidote.

Ciara Signs With IMG Models

Ciara has signed with IMG Models, The Hollywood Reporter reports. She already is represented by sister agency WME for music and other areas. "I'm super thrilled about partnering with IMG Models," said Ciara in a statement. "I have always had a strong love for fashion, and I'm grateful to be surrounded by so many great friends that are the best at what they do in this industry."
In addition to selling over 23 million albums worldwide throughout her music career, she also serves as Topshop's first U.S. brand ambassador. She is set to co-host the Billboard Music Awards with Ludacris on May 22.

Drake And French Montana Team Up For Collaboration

Drake is already back in the studio working on a collab with French Montana. Pics of the pair hard at work in the studio showed up on Instagram, while Montana was featured in a brief clip of the track posted to Twitter. Drizzy and Montana previously hooked up on the tunes "Stay Schemin" and "Pop That." The collab comes as Drake keeps busy with promoting his latest album.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Drake landed his first Billboard number one as a lead artist with "One Dance." The Views cut, featuring WizKid and Kyla, is currently at the top of the Hot 100.

Iron Maiden guitarist Steve Harris says that even though he serves as the band's chief songwriter, the band's triple guitar attack makes their songs feel "bigger and better."
"If you see a credit with just my name on it, that means I write absolutely everything: rhythm guitar parts, guitar melodies, vocal melodies . . . absolutely everything, really. The only thing I don't write is the guitar solos, but even then I might suggest one or two things."

Drake's Views Streaming On Spotify And Tidal

Drake's latest album Views is now streaming via Tidal and Spotify, after two weeks exclusively at Apple Music. In its first two weeks of release, the album sold 852,000 physical copies, and set a record for number of streams with 245 million listens in a seven day period
In addition to scoring Drake the number one slot, "One Dance" also becomes Drake's 16th number one on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.

Brian Wilson has celebrated the 50th anniversary of the classic Beach Boys release Pet Sounds. The rock icon kicks off a world tour commemorating the release on May 17 in Birmingham, U.K. which will run through October 17 in Sacramento, California. In an official statement about the tour he said, "I just can't believe it. I recorded it to bring love to the world . . ."

Coldplay Release 'Up&Up' Video

Coldplay have released their new video for the track "Up&Up." The track serves as the most recent single for the band's newest effort A Head Full of Dreams and the vid features and massive sized Chris Martin leaning up against full mountain ranges as if they are lounge chairs. Martin dropped a teaser for the video earlier this month.
"We're comfortable with being who we are at the moment," Martin told Zane Lowe on his Beats 1 Radio Show. "I think when we let go of the idea we had to try and win everyone over I think that was really liberating."
