    The Xbox One and PS4 have broadly similar features, but there’s a few areas where Microsoft has beaten Sony: Backwards compatibility with the Xbox 360 and steaming games from an Xbox One to a local PC. But while we’ve known Microsoft was adding backwards compatibility since E3 2015, we haven’t seen much of how that process happened, until now.

  3. Atari to Make its First Console in Decades, but What the Heck Is It?

    Atari has announced its intention to re-enter the console market, 23 years after its last platform, the Atari Jaguar, launched. The company has said very little about its plans for the hardware, and hasn’t even confirmed if its working on a retro game platform or if it actually wants to compete with the likes of Sony, Nintendo, and Microsoft.

    Seagate and Microsoft have teamed up before to offer Xbox-branded external storage options, and the storage manufacturer has recently refreshed its product line to match the style of last summer’s Xbox One S.
