I opened this help file in MetaEditor and I see that this is explanation of the settings of ZUP. I mean - some part of setting explanation was moved from ZUP to this help file. So, this help file is just the settings only. For example :

ExtIndicator - select of the version of zigzag which is base to build the patterns on
0 - Zigzag from Metatrader (slightly modified)
1 - Alex Zigzag
2 - Ensign Zigzag
3 - ZigZag Ensign with minBars
4 - Tauber Zigzag
5 - Gann Variation
6 - DT-ZigZag using ZigZag_new_nen3 indicator and based on standard Zigzag
7 - DT-ZigZag using DT_ZZ (developed by klot)
8 - DT-ZigZag using CZigZag (developed by Candid)
10 - DT-ZigZag using Swing_zz - this is ExtIndicator=5 with DT mode
11 - searching the Gartley patterns based on standard Zigzag
12 - Talex Zigzag
13 - SQZZ Zigzag, developed by Tovaroved
14 - ZZ_2L_nen Zigzag developed by wellx

The help file provided by NEN is not an on screen indicator for Metatrader. You can use the editor to go through it to understand which parameters do what but unfortunately it was written in Russian (Cyrilic alphabet) and does not show up properly on latin alphabet.

It just show retracement level by harmonic numbers, for ret of BD point, potential reverse zone.

Could anyone please help me with setting up an email alert for the latest ZUP indicator when a pattern is found - as it is an ex4 binary file I cannot do this in an obvious manner.

Any advice is appreciated.

I understand Russian but it is as difficult subject and as many parameters with some special terminology so I do not understand it even if in Russian sorry.

They are having FAQ ZUP thread on onix forum here and as I know - admin (username is poruchik) may reply in English on the thread.

Besides, If you open ZUP in MetaEditor so you will find some parameters with short explanation. Just for example - this post http://newdigital-world.com/trading-...html#post13731 - there is zip file attached to the post with help_146p.mq4 file. So, this help_146p file is the parameters and explanation of the parameters (if you open this file in MetaEditor).

You may see it by yourself: go to this post, download zip file, extract it and open help_146p file in MetaEditor, and you will see about how much to translate ... I speak Russian but it is nothing with language ... I do not understand the meaning of many parameters ... :)

Here is a copy translation for ZUP 101 input parameters. It is a basic input of ZUP, some of the input still apply for the newer ZUP version. I will do another translation for new ZUP, maybe this weekend.

ZUP indicator can use different of zigzag indicators to construct harmonic patterns. In every ZUP released by Nen it is normal different type of zigzag indicators are included. It gives user a choice which zigzag to be use, other than the standard zigzag that comes with MT4. Below we will see the different result display by Czigzag, DZigZag_Nen, Swing_ZZ_1, ZigZag_Nen3 and normal MT4 zigzag.

I've tested the ZUP email function, it is working ok. I'm using gmail service so i setup the following smtp server on the MT4 mail tab:

SMTP Server: smtp.gmail.com:465
SMTP Login : your@gmail.com
SMTP Password : your email password
From : your gmail
To : your gmail

From the ZUP parameter enable the send mail function.

Zup indicator are not yet implement this feature. You can request it through onix forum.
