Bush kicked off their co-headlining tour with Chevelle at Huntington, New York's the Paramount on May 5. Currently, Bush is playing dates without Chevelle, but the two acts will hook up on July 21 at Walker, Minnesota's Moondance Jam Festival for a series of dates this summer. Bush's last record, Man on the Run, was released in 2016.

The Cure kicked off their latest North American tour with the debut of two brand new songs, "Step Into the Light" and "It Can Never Be the Same." The band kicked off their current tour in New Orleans at the UNO Lakefront Arena where they performed the new material. Fan footage of both can be seen online. The band's North American tour will encompass 27 dates in 22 cities.
The Cure will also play a handful of arena gigs in London and Manchester at the end of the year, which represents their first U.K. tour dates since 2008.

According to a search warrant, Prince saw Dr. Michael Todd Schulenberg, who prescribed him with unknown medications twice before his death in April, including on the day before his death, April 20. The initial autopsy to determine the cause of Prince's death was inconclusive, while officials await the return of toxicology tests.
Six days before his death, he fell unconscious in a private plane, forcing it to make an emergency landing. According to reports he was subsequently treated with an opioid overdose antidote.

"I'm super thrilled about partnering with IMG Models," said Ciara in a statement. Drake is already back in the studio working on a collab with French Montana. Pics of the pair hard at work in the studio showed up on Instagram, while Montana was featured in a brief clip of the track posted to Twitter. Drizzy and Montana previously hooked up on the tunes "Stay Schemin" and "Pop That." The collab comes as Drake keeps busy with promoting his latest album.
Earlier this week, it was announced that Drake landed his first Billboard number one as a lead artist with "One Dance." The Views cut, featuring WizKid and Kyla, is currently at the top of the Hot 100.

Iron Maiden guitarist Steve Harris says that even though he serves as the band's chief songwriter, the band's triple guitar attack makes their songs feel "bigger and better."

Drake's latest album Views is now streaming via Tidal and Spotify, after two weeks exclusively at Apple Music. In its first two weeks of release, the album sold 852,000 physical copies, and set a record for number of streams with 245 million listens in a seven day period

The rock icon kicks off a world tour commemorating the release on May 17 in Birmingham, U.K. which will run through October 17 in Sacramento, California. Coldplay have released their new video for the track "Up&Up." The track serves as the most recent single for the band's newest effort A Head Full of Dreams and the vid features and massive sized Chris Martin leaning up against full mountain ranges as if they are lounge chairs. Martin dropped a teaser for the video earlier this month.

Miguel is set to open for Sia on her upcoming Nostalgic for the Present Tour. The "Adorn" singer and AlunaGeorge have both been chosen as opening acts for the 40-year-old Australian singer, who played Coachella last month. The 22-date tour will kick off on September 29 at Seattle's KeyArena and wrap up on November 6 at Austin's Frank Erwin Center.

Willie Nelson has officially announced his annual Fourth of July picnic event. Tickets for the 43rd annual event will go on sale starting on May 20 and will run between $85 for VIP tickets and $39 for general admission lawn tickets. Speaking of last year's event, Nelson explained how he first conceived of the picnic.
"I got the idea from Woodstock about how music could bring people from different places together," Nelson said last year. "I had just moved to Austin and had come to realize what a great music center it was and could be."

Liam Gallagher has hinted at making a return to music in a cryptic new Twitter message. One tweet reads, "Lots of exciting things happening time to get back in ring give us a call ROVER," while another simply says, "Groove is in the art." After Oasis broke up in 2009, Gallagher formed the new band Beady Eye, releasing two albums with the group before splitting in 2014.

Damon Albarn and Adele were among the big winners at the Ivor Novello Awards, which took place in London on Thursday. The honors are voted on by the U.K. songwriting and composing community. Adele won the Songwriter of the Year award, while Albarn took home the Lifetime Achievement award. "I won it on my last album as well," Adele said at the INAs.
Accepting his award, Albarn said, "What is songwriting? What is it all about? True songwriters are people who are able to release themselves from something that's really affected them by writing a song about it."

Lil Wayne and VH1 are teaming up for a new reality series centered around the rapper, according to Young Money's Stephanie Acevedo. The new series is tentatively titled Lil Wayne's House. In a Facebook interview with famed plastic surgeon Dr. Miami, Acevedo said the new deal was recently inked. "We just got a contract with VH1," she explained.

A previously unreleased demo of David Bowie's 1969 number one single "Space Oddity" with alternative lyrics is set to be aired in a new BBC4 documentary. The People's History Of Pop is a four-part BBC4 series covering music fans' recollections of 1956-1996. The first episode, which aired in April, covered the formation of the Beatles and the Rolling Stones.
"The show meets music fans, including some who fell in love with the psychedelic sounds of Sgt Pepper, hippies who discovered peace and love at the Isle of Wight Festival, and Black Sabbath fans who turned to the new sounds of heavy metal," a statement regarding the show reads.

Beyoncé's recent concert in Minneapolis was delayed for 45 minutes due to weather on what was the newly minted "Beyoncé Day" in that city. The lady Bey was set to hit the stage in Minneapolis on May 23 at the TCF Bank Stadium.
Just fifteen minutes before her set was to kick off at 8:15 p.m., all 35,000 of the fans were evacuated out of the open bowl section of the venue. The fans were held for 45 minutes before being allowed back into the bowl at which time the show resumed.
The singer hit the stage promptly and thanked fans for hanging on with her saying, "Thank you for riding out the storm with me."
Beyoncé released her sixth studio album, Lemonade, on April 23.

Stoermer, who will still be involved with recording the band's new album, plans to make a solo album and "pursue other educational goals." Rush's Alex Lifeson has "hours" of material for a potential new solo album. Lifeson says that while he isn't sure he wants to record a new solo album, since he released his solo debut Victor back in 1996, he does have "hours" of material "that inspires him." "What I enjoyed most about making that album was the variety of the material," Lifeson said.
"I don't have the same drive to jump into a project like Victor at the moment, but I do have hours of material that does inspire me to at least consider such a thing."

Radiohead have performed their beloved track "2+2=5" for the first time since 2009. The performance came during the band's recent show in Paris and the Hail to the Thief track was joined by the OK Computer classics "Airbag" and "Climbing Up the Walls." The band made headlines earlier this spring when they made their return to the stage for the first time since 2012.
According to live reports, the band opened with "Burn The Witch," before following with new album tracks "Daydreaming" and "Decks Dark." Other songs aired from the new album included "Desert Island Disk," "The Numbers" and "Present Tense." Randy Travis fills the role of a dying country music legend in the upcoming new film The Price. The Price, which was filmed before Travis suffered a debilitating stroke in 2013, also stars Travis' real-life wife Mary as an old-flame who gave birth to his son 20-something years earlier.

Rapper Gucci Mane has been released from prison. He was incarcerated in 2013 for a parole violation. According to TMZ, Mane will now be under house arrest for a number of months and on probation afterwards. TMZ also reports that a judge may have granted Mane early release after his lawyer filed a motion claiming that the rapper did not receive proper credit for previous time served.

KISS' 2014 residency may soon be available in the form of a pay-per-view stream. A countdown clock seems to indicate that KISS Rocks Vegas will be ready to view on June 11 for the price of $14.95. This stream is being brought to fans by TourGigs, who have also handled live videos from bands like the String Cheese Incident and Widespread Panic.
"I think it was a great show," said Paul Stanley. "There's a great intensity between us and the audience. That's palpable. To do a show in a venue that small and yet do a show that's that large only made us that much more colossal as figures. The Dixie Chicks have returned to the road for the first time as headliners since 2006. The group recently kicked off their DCX MMXVI Tour in Cincinnati, Ohio at the Riverbend Music Center. The trio will visit more than 40 cities throughout the U.S. and Canada, wrapping up their road trip with a performance at the Hollywood Bowl in October. The group has toured on-and-off since 2006.

AC/DC's Brian Johnson may have the chance to rejoin the band after all, according to Rolling Stone. The frontman, who has currently been replaced by Guns N' Roses Axl Rose, was first told his hearing loss was so bad he may never be able to sing again. Since then Johnson has met with ear specialist Stephen Ambrose for treatment.

Paul McCartney has spoken out about his unintentionally racist past. The former Beatle said when he was younger, growing up in Liverpool, he used certain words without knowing they were actual offensive to some. "When I was a kid, you were racist without knowing it," McCartney said in a recent interview with the Mail Online.
McCartney recently teamed up with Kanye West on a few songs, including "All Day," which uses the word "n****r."
