Trace Adkins has announced plans for his first ever holiday album and tour. The new release, The King's Gift, is due out October 29. Adkins broke news of the release to the Boot: "This is the first Christmas record I've ever made, and I am so proud of this Christmas record, probably more proud of this than anything that I've possibly ever done . . ."

Iron Maiden rocker Bruce Dickinson has shut down rumors that he played a part in the manufacturing of drones for the U.S. military. Reps for the band released an official statement to NME, noting that accusations are entirely baseless: "This is a totally inaccurate and malicious piece of writing that seems to have stemmed from an unfortunate mistake . . ."

Alice Cooper is extending his North American tour this fall. The Raise the Dead tour will now run through November 23 and then wrap after a concert in Costa Mesa, California. The tour will launch on October 13 in Port Chester, New York. Cooper is offering a Platinum VIP Package to fans that is available for purchase at his website. The package includes a meet and greet with the singer.

Jo Dee Messina is hitting the road after announcing a slate of new tour dates this fall. Messina kicks things off in Hawaii Sept. 14, and plays a few more shows stateside in California and Texas before heading to Saskatchewan, Canada on Oct. 3. Paul McCartney released the tracklisting of his upcoming album, New, this past week. The 12-track album will be released in the U.S. on October 15. Some of the song titles on the album include "Save Us" (produced by Paul Epworth), "Alligator" (produced by Mark Ronson) and "On My Way to Work" (produced by Giles Martin).

Pink has been named Woman of the Year by Billboard magazine. The award comes during a year in which the pop star scored her first ever number one album, The Truth About Love. "It's been an incredible year and I feel so grateful to radio for sticking by me, and to the fans and friends and all of the incredible talent that I was fortunate enough to work with for this album."

Tim McGraw has been added to the cast of Tomorrowland, a Disney-produced film from director Brad Bird. In the flick, George Clooney plays a former boy genius inventor who, along with precocious teenager Britt Robinson, goes on a danger-filled adventure to unlock secrets of a mysterious place called Tomorrowland.

Scotty McCreery took a dive onstage at a concert in Iowa on Saturday, calling it an "epic fall." McCreery was performing at the Clay County Fair in Spencer, Iowa when he slipped onstage. He lost his footing completely and slipped again as he tried to stand up. He then slid onto his knees to continue the song, managing to finally stand up.

TLC is featured in the music video for J. Cole's "Crooked Smile," a cut from his sophomore album, Born Sinner. The cinematic vid, directed by Sheldon Candis, features Cole as a drug dealer who invites his family over to celebrate his little sister's b-day. Things take a turn for the worse when DEA agents raid Cole's house, shooting his little sis in the process.

Jay Z and Beyoncé are the top earning celebrity couple, according to Forbes. The magazine's annual Highest-Earning Celebrity Couple's list indicates that the two superstars, who also topped the list last year, pulled in a combined $95 million.
