"I am sitting in a coffee shop with my mum and just found out I have an Oscar nomination," he said in a statement given to Entertainment Weekly. "Feeling very overwhelmed and just can't believe it. Kelly Rowland says that she's been hard at work in the studio and will release new music next month. Speaking with ABC, K-Row says she's also got a video in the works. "I'm actually gearing up for a video right now, actually in rehearsals for a video right now I'm excited about." Rowland adds that she'll have plenty of material to choose from when putting the record together.

David Bowie's final album, Blackstar, has reached number one on the Billboard 200. It's the highest charting record by Bowie, whose previous highest charting record was the 2002 comp Best of Bowie. Blackstar managed to knock Adele's 25 out of the number one spot. The record also topped U.K. charts, making it Bowie's 10th chart topper in England.

Alice Cooper has announced a slate of dates for his new Spend the Night with Alice Cooper tour. The trek begins in Biloxi, Mississippi on April 29, and wraps in Rama, Ontario on May 21. Following the North American dates, Cooper will head to London, where he'll perform at the Stone Free Festival, scheduled for June 18 and 19 at the O2 Arena.
