Mumford & Sons say that the band is going on hiatus now that their tour has come to a close following Friday's concert in Bonner Spring, Kansas. The U.K. folk group say they have no plans to return to the studio to record the follow-up to their smash album, Babel. "There won't be any Mumford & Sons activities for the foreseeable future following Friday's show."

Alison Krauss has been diagnosed with a vocal condition known as dysphonia, which has forced her to cancel an upcoming appearance at the IBMA World of Bluegrass Festival, which takes place from September 24-27 at Red Hat Amphitheater in Raleigh, N.C. Boston have confirmed plans to release their first new studio album since 2002. It will be the first since the suicide of Brad Delp in 2007, and mark the sixth studio release from the band overall.
