Personal income in the U.S. increased by slightly more than expected in the month of February, according to a report released by the Commerce Department on Monday. The report said personal income rose by 0.2 percent in February after climbing by 0.5 percent in January.

Factory Orders Fall In February
Orders for U.S. manufactured goods declined in February, according to new government data released on Monday. The slide more than reversed an increase seen in the previous month. The U.S. Department of Commerce said factory orders fell 1.7 percent in February. This followed 1.2 percent rise in the previous month.
