I would like to study more on the topic. Could you please link the article/source on which you coded the indicator.

Much appreciated for everything you have done.

    Thanks

    Hi jencormick,

you can find more information in his book 'Cybernetic Analysis for Stocks and Futures' (see Chapter 11 - The Sinewave indicator).

    Hi jencormick,

It's great that you're taking on this indicator to study. I've tried to understand it myself but I haven't come up with something practical that would work for me. If you find an interesting use of it, it would be good to learn about your idea of using it.

Hi igorad! Can you please explain how to use it or link where I can read about it? I took a look at the book but didn't find the section about this one.

    Thanks! :-)

    Hi ape_epa,

It's just one more method of the Dominant Cycle Computation described in the Chapter 5.

Also J.Ehlers explains 3 other methods in the Chapter 14:

    1. Dual Differentiator Method
    2. Phase Accumulation Method
    3. Homodyne Method

    Attachment 26973

And I think the Phase Accumulation Method is most precise among them.

    Regards,
    Igor

Oh now I saw the sections, I was looking at the wrong book, 'Cybernetic Analysis for Stocks and Futures' insted of ''Cycle Analytics for Traders', sorry for that.
Anyway I think this one will be great to have for mt4(The Super Passband Filter) STOCKS & COMMODITIES Magazine
I found it for mt5 only on mql5 site, not sure whether it's doable for mt4, but you know better.

As always, thank you for your work! :-)
