    Thanks

Its missing the most important new parameter though.
    Step Multiplier Change: .2 (Default)

    The request was:

Can you make some additions to latest version of this indicator (v6.4 I believe)?

I want to have the Multiplier input to decrease over time to constrict the channel.

    Inputs:
Bar to start Multiplier Change: 5 (default)
    Step Multiplier Change: .2 (Default)

If Multiplier is set to 2 then at bar 5 it would change to 1.8 and bar 6 would be 1.6 and so on.

I assume your CountBars is the same as Bars to Start Multiplier Change from above?

    Please Fix?

    Hi thor68,

I suppose you know how the ratchet algorithm works? If not I can explain:

First, if you see the signal dot then the multiplier is equal the initial value (see the Multiplier parameter) on this bar. If the current price moves in your favor then the multiplier decreases on the Ratchet parameter value(eg 0.25) on each bar when it happens. Or the multiplier is equal the value on the previous bar if the market moves against you.

So as you can see there is a reason to have the MinMultiplier parameter which should prevent the excessive decreasing on the multiplier during the strong market moves in your favor.
But I don't see any reason to add the Bar to start Multiplier Change parameter because it'll be too subjective.

    Regards,
    Igor

    Hi thor68,

it's number of bars for which the indicator is calculated (0-for all bars on the chart). If CountBars=200 then you'll see the indicator on 200 bars only.

    Hi thor68,

Please check out the updated VoltyChannel_Stop Histo indicator which is corresponding to the new VoltyChannel_Stop. Plus I added an ability to show the Rising/Falling Up/Downtrend if MA Period > 1.

    Thanks Igor:
Can you tell me the logic used for the additional trend characteristics from 2 to 4 different colors that you added?

Can this be added to the non'Histro version as well?
