Peter Frampton has announced a new LP, which will include acoustic renditions of some of his favorite songs from earlier releases. "It's much more interesting than I thought it was going to be," Frampton tells Billboard. "I thought, 'Well, I'll just go into the studio and I'll whip off 10 or 11 of my songs just the way I wrote them.'"

Marilyn Manson has confirmed a new string of U.K. tour dates. The run is set to kick off in London at the Eventim Apollo on November 19 and will continue through November 23 when he'll wrap things at the Manchester O2 Apollo. The tour will follow Manson's forthcoming run of North American dates alongside Smashing Pumpkins. That tour will encompass 23 cities across the continent.

Mariah Carey has settled a lawsuit filed by a former nanny who claimed that she, along with her then-hubby Nick Cannon, treated her like a slave and forced her to work more than 100 hours a week without overtime. The nanny, Simonette DaCosta, claimed in the suit, which was filed in January of this year, that Carey and Cannon forced her to rotate between working shifts.

In a presser, Owen says that, with the help of songwriters Shane McAnally and Ross Copperman, he was inspired by moments - some bright some dark - in his own life. The singer made the surprise appearance after performing with Tony Bennett at the 37th edition of the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.
