U2 and Coldplay have been linked to a New York studio, fueling speculations and rumors that Martin will appear on the Irish band's new album. All four members of U2 were seen at the Electric Lady Studios in New York on Friday, where Danger Mouse is reportedly mixing their new album. Khyati Shah, who was unceremoniously bashed in the head during Miguel's performance at the Billboard Music Awards, may sue the show's producers and/or the star himself. Adam Lambert was voted as the favorite to judge American Idol next season in a poll taken on The Wendy Williams Show. Jennifer Hudson has already signed on to the show, while reports indicate Kelly Clarkson is close to signing. The Last Ship, Sting's first full-length album of original material in over ten years, is set for release on September 24. According to the New York Times, the Police bassist wrote the LP while working on a musical. The musical, which may be due for a Broadway debut in 2014, is set in a shipyard near Wallsend, England, where Sting spent his youth.

Ashanti made a special stop by NBC's culinary show, The Chew, to cook up a batch of peanut butter s'mores. The singer and Army Wives star helped host Carla Hall roll out molasses dough, but joked that she's not wild about eating it raw. "I don't eat a lot of dough. I spend a lot," joked Ashanti.
