According to reports, David Bowie will release a new album entitled Blackstar on January 8. The Times notes that the LP contains seven songs which clock in at 45 minutes and "may well be the oddest work yet" from the Thin White Duke. The paper also called it "an album of long, jazzy jams mixed with the kind of driving beat pioneered by '70s German bands . . ."

Fleetwood Mac are prepping the release of a deluxe reissue of their 1979 double album Tusk. The five CD, two LP, and one DVD set will include remastered music, an alternate version of the complete album featuring session outtakes, along with demos and remixes. The band are currently touring Australia, performing their classic album, Rumors, in the process.

Corey Taylor of Slipknot looks to be advancing a career in pro wrestling after getting into a dust up with NXT's Baron Corbin at this past weekend's Aftershock Festival. Taylor laid an open handed slap on the 6'8" Corbin, after the latter poked him in the chest at the Sacramento fest. The incident followed up a social media beef between the pair.

Carrie Underwood has announced dates for her lengthy 2016 Storyteller tour. The Storyteller Tour - Stories in the Round will hit 40 arenas across the United States and Canada from January through May of 2016. The trek will be Underwood's first in-the-round tour. The new trek kicks off January 30 in Jacksonville, Florida at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena.

Kendrick Lamar has released a video for "These Walls," the latest track to be taken off of his To Pimp A Butterfly record. The clip, entitled "These Walls," directed by Colin Tilley, opens in a jail cell and then flashes back to a wild night at an apartment complex. An inmate (Corey Holcomb) recounts the night that landed him behind bars.

The band's website underwent an overhaul and has been replaced by a splash screen emblazoned with their logo and a countdown clock set to expire on November 23. As some have pointed out, the logo on the page is shaped sort of like a road sign.

Carrie Underwood will headline Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve with Ryan Seacrest special from New York City. Underwood will help ring in the New Year from Times Square. "There's nowhere else I'd rather be than New York's Times Square, one of the most magical places in the world, to ring in the new year," Underwood says in a statement.
