    As well as their size of divergence from the immediate previous trend (in pips) ?

    This information will be helpful in planning lots to reduce breakeven. If I find average divergence of past few retracement is 33% of the main trend, then I will trade 3 lots at appropriate point to reduce breakeven point.

    Knowing the statistics related to retracement occurrences will help plan Quantum channel width.

    Thank you very much.

    "count and print the number of retracements/pullbacks/reversals.." - I did not see any tool here for that.
    As to me so I am looking on the chart on the way as the technical analysis for example.

    1. There is one thread in premium section (Indicators and templates to evaluate the market condition) where I am posting indicators and templates for technical analysis for MT4 and MT5 (Ichimoku templates, fibo, overbought/oversold setup, fibo price action setup, kagi strategy setup, fibo ichimoku cloud, scalping setup, asctrend ichimoku cloud setup, ZUP breakout setup, time breakout setup, support/resistance setup, absolute scalping setup, Market Condition Ichimoku AbsoluteStrengthMarket setup, and more).

    2. There are two public threads about market condition:
    Market condition thread is here.
    Determining Market Condition thread is this one.

    3. Divergence indicator(s) thread is here.

    4. ZUP related threads:
    Harmonic Trading thread is here. The list of the tools with the link to download - see the first post of the thread.
    Patterns by HWAFM (Metatrader 5) - this thread.

    5. Supply and Demand zones indicators are on this thread.

    and more (you can look at the public wiki for example).

    ---------------

    Just an example with public indicators from here:

    - AllAbsoluteMarket_v2.1 600+ indicator is on this post. This version works with Metatrader 4 build 600 and above.
    - AllAbsoluteMarket_v2.2 600+ indicator is on this post. This is fixed and updated AllAbsoluteMarket indicator with ability to calculate the MACD mode (MathMode = 3). The version works with Metatrader 4 build 600 and above.

    and improved versions from the premium:

    ----------------

    But I did not see any indicator/tool which are combining everything related to the technical analysis/breakout/divergence on one chart to the text file ...

    May be - those AbsoluteMarket indicators are slightly related to what you are looking for:

    I think I should have referred to your article . https://www.mql5.com/en/forum/290#comment_611476

    What I want to find out is : (a) The number of bars/pips of swings low and swings high recorded by Zig Zag lines say in lookback period of 240 minutes or any input by the user.

    (b) the average pips size of the high swing to previous high swing and previous low swing to previous low swing.

    (c) average range of the pips movements from the zig zag length using the history as the range.

    In case of retracement/pullbacks, the duration (time in minutes) of retracements that followed each swing and the size of the retracement in pips or percentage. I do not want to record the number of swings because I am assuming each swing is followed by some kind of retracement.

    Why these statistics? because I want to estimate the size of the retracements for the purpose of planning my take profit, stop loss or using increased lots to achieve faster breakeven.

    I hope Igor finds value in this statistical indicator.

    thank you.

    Hi OptionHK,

    I have an indicator called PriceChannelZigZag coded by Igor from his TrendLab days that shows information you are requesting.

    If Igor/ND do not mind I can either post the indicator here or in the premium section.

    Here are the possible settings from the indicator:

    //List of ShowPeriodsMode & ShowPipsMode Combinations:
    //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    //ShowPeriodsMode=1 & ShowPipsMode=0 - Full Cycle Length
    //ShowPeriodsMode=2 & ShowPipsMode=0 - Half Cycle Length or Legs Length in bars
    //ShowPeriodsMode=3 & ShowPipsMode=0 - Point Number/ZZ points
    //ShowPeriodsMode=4 & ShowPipsMode=0 - Legs Length/Average Legs Length
    //ShowPeriodsMode=1 & ShowPipsMode=1 - Full Cycle Length/Legs Length in pips
    //ShowPeriodsMode=2 & ShowPipsMode=1 - Legs Length/Legs Length in pips
    //ShowPeriodsMode=3 & ShowPipsMode=1 - Point Number/Legs Length in pips
    //ShowPeriodsMode=0 & ShowPipsMode=1 - Legs Length in pips
    //ShowPeriodsMode=0 & ShowPipsMode=1 - Legs Length in pips
    //ShowPeriodsMode=3 & ShowPipsMode=2 - Point Number/Cumulative Legs Length in pips
    //ShowPeriodsMode=0 & ShowPipsMode=3 - Legs Length in pips/Average Legs Length in pips
    //ShowPeriodsMode=0 & ShowPipsMode=4 - Legs Number/Cumulative Legs Length in pips * Potential Profit %
    //----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
    //if CommentMode=1 you will see additional information:
    //MaxPips - Max Legs Length in pips
    //MaxTime - Max Legs Length Time
    //MinPips - Min Legs Length in pips
    //MinTime - Min Legs Length Time

    In the attached chart the setting is ShowPeriodsMode=2 & ShowPipsMode=1 - Legs Length/Legs Length in pips.

    KST Indicator bar limit

    Hi Igorad

    Would you be able to quickly modify the attached KST (Know Sure Thing) indicator to limit the number of bars counted? With the input Parameter called BarsCounted or something

    I find when used multiple time in rapid succession the indicator is rather slow, so I want it to only count 300-500 bars instead of the whole history

    Thanks

    Hi alecsa! The indicator had a bug too that prevented the updating of the new bars(and the current bar). Now it's fixed with the ability to limit the calculation.
    It's a very quick tweak so I'm not sure it will be bug free

    Anyway the "multiple time in rapid succession" shouldn't slow it down, because, for example, in the EAs every invocations of indicator (with the same param) is created once and used many times.

    I do not have this indicator so it is related to Igorad (I will ask him now by PM).
