    Metallica will stream their June 6th, 2006 — or 6/6/06 for those that want to be particularly metal about it — concert in Berlin for the next installment of their #MetallicaMondays series.
    The show will premiere on the band’s YouTube page July 20th at 5 p.m. PT/8 p.m. ET, and will then be available to watch on-demand.

    Deluxe sets of Metallica's upcoming new album Hardwired . . . To Self-Destruct will feature the band performing covers of the late Ronnie James Dio, Iron Maiden and Deep Purple. Maiden's "Remember Tomorrow," Deep Purple's "When a Blind Man Cries" and Dio's "Ronnie Rising Medley."

    Metallica drummer Lars Ulrich has the revealed that the group's forthcoming release should be out sometime this year. It will be their first new offering since 2008's Death Magnetic and Ulrich opened up about the new release while speaking with Billboard. "I think it's going to get wrapped up soon," Ulrich said.

    Metallica have announced plans to offer a free webcast of their sold-out pre-Super Bowl performance at AT&T Park, dubbed "The Night Before." "The concert has been sold out for months, but we don't want anyone to be left out," Metallica announced on their website. "So spend Super Bowl eve with us, no matter where you are that night!"

    Metallica have revealed some new details about their forthcoming new book. The volume, titled Metallica: Back to the Front, will detail the creation and support behind the band's legendary 1986 debut album, Master of Puppets. "We're pretty sure it will be worth the wait as the book is chock full of exclusive intensive interviews with all of us . . ."
